Wind Energy Data As part of the Wind Energy Education project, a wind turbine was installed in Nabua. Funding was received from the Danish Government, with assistance from the French Embassy in Fiji to install a Vergnet-turbine for experimental purposes. SOPAC commissioned the turbine and thereafter, the ownership was transferred to the University of the South Pacific. Data Logger At the turbine, a number of parameters are measured, that influence the potential of the wind on the site. Future expansion includes power monitoring and remote readout of data.
