Expression of Interest Invited from 10 Pacific Countries

Ten (10) Pacific Island Countries representing the Melanesian, Polynesian and Micronesian sub-regions have been invited to send Expression of Interests for participation in the Pacific Water Safety Plans Programme.
Based on the responses received, 4 countries will be selected for implementation of pilot Water Safety Plan projects.
The deadline for application is 31st January 2006.

AUSAID supports SOPAC/WHO joint Initiative

The Pacific Water Safety Plans Programme has received support from the AUSAID in the form of funding for the implementation of pilot WSP projects in 4 countries around the Pacific. The 500,000AUD funding is a timely support for efforts to ensure safe quality drinking water for Pacific communities.
