The software

Install a demo on Windows or Linux

If you need to evaluate Tikiwiki with the maps feature you can play a virtual machine on any PC with the VMPlayer. This virtual machine includes Mandriva-2006, Tikiwiki-1.9.3.1 and mapserver-4.6

Requirements:
  • 2GB free space on Hard Drive
  • 64MB of free memory (real or paged/swap)
  • MS-Windows or Linux
  • A Network Card that is assigned automatically an IP address

Installation

When the system has finished to boot it will display the configuration of the network card. Locate eth0 IP address, you can now fire up your browser on your host machine and point it to this IP address.

Tutorial

We are using Google Video to put a tutorial on the various functions of Tikiwiki in its installation as a GeoCMS.
