PIEPSAP Collaboration with Pacific Energy and Gender Network (PEG)
PIEPSAP has been working closely with PEG in networking and delivering its outputs. Currently PIEPSAP Project Officer coordinates PEG and its activities through PEG Working Group.
A Regional Strategic Planning and Awareness Raising Workshop - Pacific Energy and Gender Network (PEG), 5-9 December, 2005, Nadi was coordinated and one of the key outputs was the endorsed
Pacific Energy and Gender Network Strategic Action Plan (PEGSAP) 2006-2008.
PIEPSAP has allocated considerable funds as part of PIEPSAP's Annual Work Program 2006 towards PEGSAP 2006 - 2008 activities.
As part of PIEPSAP collaboration and cooperation, the PIEPSAP Project Officer represented PEG at the Regional Implementation Meeting (RIM) for Asia and the Pacific for CSD 14, ESCAP, 19 - 20 January 2006, representing Womens Stakeholder Major Group from the Pacific.
